Awesome show

Good show all around. Testament did not disappoint. They played a good mix of material from recent, middle, and classic albums. In this case I enjoyed hearing the new songs as much as the older songs because these were heavy, well crafted and true to the Testament sound. The band had great energy and the sound for their performance was well balanced and clear. The pit, which never stopped moving and comprised about half the floor, was a refreshingly heterogeneous gathering of older and younger fans. It is clear from this and the crowd overall that the next generation seems to have a real appreciation for this great music. Truly the legacy (pun intended) of thrash metal, and Testament themselves, will live on for many years to come The venue itself was a nice intimate club that, despite the long trip to get to, was a great place to watch a show. I felt like I was close enough to the stage and right in the middle of the action. Well worth the two year wait through the pandemic to see Testament finally headline shows again.
